Best mushroom tip for home cooks?
Don’t wash them under running water! A dry tea towel is all you need. They’re like little sponges. If you drop them in water, they will start to soak up all that liquid. Also, don’t season with salt until the end of your cooking, as it will draw out all the moisture too early in the cooking process.
